Hazwoper 8-Hour Annual Refresher Course
This course meets the requirements outlined in OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 for eight hours of annual refresher training for workers at hazardous waste sites. This course is designed for general site workers who remove hazardous waste, who are exposed to or potentially exposed to hazardous substances and/or health hazards. The course is comprised of nine sections covering topics which pertain to workplace hazards associated with Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER).
Hazwoper 24-Hour Training Course
The Hazwoper 24 Hour course is required for employees visiting an Uncontrolled Hazardous Waste Operation mandated by the U.S. Government under OSHA’s Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training standard. This course is designed for workers who visit the work site only occasionally and for specifically limited tasks and who are unlikely to be exposed over the permissible and published hazardous exposure limits.
Hazwoper 40-Hour Training Course
The Hazwoper 40 hour course is a required training course for workers that perform activities which expose, or may potentially expose them to hazardous materials. This course is specifically designed for workers who are involved in clean-up operations, emergency response operations, as well as storage, disposal, or treatment of hazardous waste sites.
Hazwoper 8-hour First Responder
This course meets the requirements outline in OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 (q) regulations for individuals involved in first response scenarios who do not require either the 24 or 40 hour HAZWOPER training courses. This course offers a very basic overview of Hazardous materials, covering identification, and proper/safe behavior for being a part of a first response team on a worksite/incident site.
The OSHA-PROS team was a major partner in our safety program at Wall Street Journal's Dallas printing plant. Their staff provided insightful guidance to our safety committee as well as providing valuable training.–John Sutton, Operations Manager. Dow Jones & Co.
I have used the OSHA-PROS tem for over 5 years for inspections, environmental, IH and training development. In that time they have meet or exceed expectations. They are a knowledgeable and professional safety organization.–Mike Buergler, Director of Safety, US Foodservice
